I already been through a lot of social media during those 21 (tehee (❁´◡`❁) ) years I have on this earth. Orkut, MSN, facebook, skype, lots of forums, twitter, telegram still a bit, and now mostly here and on discord.
And one thing I learned is that sooner or later those plataforms will go in ruins

I was big on facebook when it was a thing. I had a page with some following, a very active group I moderated, was part of a few other ones. It was a bustling place with something for everyone.
And then it was nothing

I think it took the spam of what, 5 years? maybe less? for facebook to go from everyone's digital id to absolute nothingness.
Not even boomers use that shit anymore
They had something massive and it suddenly evaporated in relevance

This person here is absolutely right but also I think its funny that when it comes to this type of thing no one even remembers facebook anymore. It used to be this massive thing that everyone uses, with massive foruns, where you would find local events and business, and now its a ghost town of bots

I could add that theres a big intersection with being neurodivergent because if it works for other as it works for me, going puppymode is the best thing I can do to get my mind to calm down. Its therapeutic

I realized every single useful menu for settings on windows 10 (and i imagine 11 too) its carried over from windows 7 untouched. They added a bunch of shit, redid the UI, but the 2009 one still kills it
