Eh not really. Polygraphs are explicitly not admissible in all criminal courts that I'm aware of.
They do definitely have their uses tho, not as a method of truth telling, but in the dialogues it opens up in the post-poly interviews. Ive seen people admitting to crimes AFTER the poly multiple times

I feel like the responses are being deliberately obtuse. Winning the Illinois 6 house district by less than Biden's margin is not going to win us Texas or Ohio senate seats. It just isn't. And if we can't become competitive in more places statewide we are cooked, we just are.

This is definitely true. About a decade ago my first apartment in DC post higher education was a 2 bedroom 2 bath w/ a den for a little over $3000. I had 3 other roommates and I lived in the den, paying about $700. None of our pay was high, but 4 working adults can go a long way.
