Having a dog and a kid has given me way too much experience fixing snapped blinds. Here’s a trick I came up with to get almost imperceptible fixes:
1. Apple glue
2. Hold broken blind in place
3. Use binder clips as temporary clamps
4. Wait 24 hours
5. Remove clips/clamps

Gorilla Glue is really good

This is a really dang cool detail on the Duplo railroad tracks.

On the straight tracks the teeth to engage with the wheels are on both sides. But on the curved sections it's only on the outside. This allows the inside wheels to slide and cover less distance than the outside one.
