My work laptop (some old thinkpad version) used to have the exhaust fan pointing right, so straight onto my hand when using a mouse.

Great hand warmer in winter, uncomfortable hand sweat hell in summer

You can probably tell from my code if I’ve also been writing much SQL that day, just by looking at which quotes I use

Something something pulleys.

Beyond that, I don’t really get it either

The thing to watch out for with the red ring is that it tracks things mainly when you’ve got an exercise active on the watch.

So if you’ve had a really active bit without an exercise, the rings will be a bit unfair (e.g. you spend a day gardening or doing DIY).

Cake’s version of ”I will survive” is probably the best cover I’ve discovered lately. It’s just different and very unexpected

I've been thinking of building an unraid box sometime when I have nothing better to do (i.e. endless DIY around the house).

No previous experience, just based on some very shallow research, and a probably misguided desire to put my pile of retired but not-broken SSDs and HDDs to work.
