I think one good thing about being German is that we have a massive website for people sharing cooking recipes, which enforces a standard no-fluff format for the content and generally has useful community ratings.
Finding recipes in English is such a pain in comparison.

In my opinion it’s time to retire the Nobel prizes for fields where most of the important discoveries have already been made, like physics, and add prizes for newer fields where substantial innovations occur every year, like speedrunning

I feel so weird whenever a project is like To install, just do `curl [something]/install-something.sh | bash`.
Like your server could put *anything* in there. You could probably even have someone sitting on the other end of the connection typing commands into my shell.
It feels dirty.

the one upside off falling temperatures is I get to wear cute layered outfits
(my favourite necklace would go so well with this but my girlfriend somehow managed to lose it after borrowing it for less than a day 😭)
