That is entirely my point. He was our gain. Germany would have had the A-bomb if not for the superb scientists that jumped the nazi ship for the US and UK. What will we lose as scientists jump the US ship because of the current leadership? And who else will win?

China has stepped in to fill the gap, offering research positions to our academic researchers and graduate students. For an administration who wants to be “tough on China,” we are giving them the ability to replace the US as the leader in new technology and innovation.

Losing such intellectual powerhouses, like Albert Einstein and Leo Szilard from Hungary, was a self-inflicted wound for the Nazi war effort. For the US, we will lose our place as the leader in scientific research and innovation.

Talk about racial profiling. So, we have a huge backlog of rape kits throughout the US, but the government has the capacity to run DNA on kids who *might* become future criminals. I would really rather see my tax dollars finding the criminals here now.
