In 2020, Trump said he'd "revoke schools' tax exemptions" for universities he didn't like.
Back then @motherjones.com said "There's no legal basis for the threat."
Unfortunately the Roberts court has gotten more radical since then. Trump could direct the IRS to investigate universities.

There's no legal basis to the threat, but that doesn't mean it's harmless.
