Since my game has exploration mechanics too, I need the main character to be ble to walk around on certain stages.
If the unit defined as the main character is not found on the map, the game spawns one.
Testing this with a random enemy :D

Working on the battle flow now. Of corse still missing a lot of details, but at least something happens now visually.
Next I'll implement a death animation, sounds and damage numbers. I also want emission maps for the skills, but that might have to wait a bit.

💠 I finished the pixel art for Eloise's gameplay sprites. Now that they are done, Vivi and Hani will take over the pixel art production of characters, allowing me to put more of my time into coding ^^

💠 I finished all the expressions for Countess Felicite and also tweaked her design (yet again. At least her spine's no longer broken and she has a nice headdress). That's 34 expressions in total, since she has two sets of outfits.

We commissioned @ormurinn.bsky.social for another key art piece for our game! This one is of Willow. It would be unfair if only Eloise got a key art piece, so of course we needed a second one! And My did Ormurinn do such good work ^^
