Why do language models hallucinate?

Not because they’re “broken” – but because training rewards them for giving plausible answers, even when uncertain.
Benchmarks punish “I don’t know,” so bluffing is rewarded.

LLMs struggle with symbolic planning.
A new paper shows how instruction tuning with logical CoT steps + an external validator (VAL) makes them far more reliable.

Es sind nicht nur die Services, sondern deren Integration in das Betriebssystem und dessen Basierung auf Hardware. Blickt man auf den gesamten Stack, wird erst die Abhängigkeit deutlich. Es gibt praktisch keine Alternative in Chips und OS.

Länger als du denkst, weil der Ausstieg und der Einstieg in Services nicht so einfach ist. Erst wenn man raus will, merkt man wie abhängig man sich gemacht hat. Ich probiere es auch gerade mit Nextcloud etc.
Aber halte uns auf dem laufenden!

Ich nutze NextCloud gehostet bei Ionos: die Dateiablage integriert sich genauso ins Handy und den Desktop wie Dropbox oder Google Drive.
