Rookies need to learn the hard way what works and what doesn't in the NBA. The shots that he got in college won't be there in the league. Young scorers need time to figure it out. The good ones do!

Let me ask ya this: if the guy was a consistent 3pt shooter do you think Boston, the team that shoots more 3s than anybody in the league, would have let him walk on the cheap contract he was on? Especially after the Tatum injury, and losing Porzingus, Jrue, and Horford?

I like JD, a lot. But he's one of those guys kinda stuck in hoop limbo atm. He's too good for the G but just not consistently good enough to be a pro. He has moments/flashes for sure. Good dude, I hope he makes it.

I've watched JD since he came into the league with both Boston and Maine Cs. Have always been a fan but his 3pt shot is probably what kept him from ever getting meaningful mintues in the league even though he was dominant in the G.

Fun read by Pina. For my money the best team to never win it was the Sacramento Kings of 01-02. Squad went 61-21 and were robbed in game 6 of WCF. They played some of the most beautiful basketball of my time.
