Actually maybe it’s not meaningful action as so many people will still work with JK R -but it’s definitely the right thing to not make any more money for that woman!

Not only do your purchases of Rowling's IP directly fund assaults on the legal rights, dignity, and very existence of trans people...she's made it crystal clear that she views anyone who interacts with her IP as aligned with her values. That's a pretty fucking good reason to read another book.

Meaningful action you can take today- say NO to working with JK Rowling and say why. Young people do not need another Harry Potter- they need a world where they can be themselves and laws that protect their rights and safe health care. Rowling is a bigot who used her money to influence law.

"But is it fascist?" My book A NAZI WORD FOR A NAZI THING has the answer: yes it is.

So is endlessly classifying shit, which is eugenics.

What do we do about it? My book also has the answer: make & love messy queer anarchist art to keep each other alive.

Got weary trying to explain why Anora to me was the ugly sibling of Poor Things. Male Gaze Female Gaze not terms I find that helpful- but re watched this talk for some work I’m doing -and Jo Soloway was so on it -9 years ago. Regression all around. Anora 🥱

For my 2 special followers-
Tree creepers only creep up not down.
I thought Annora was male gaze exploitative ugly nonsense.
I’m about to have plantain and chicken stew for lunch and I had bread and butter pudding for breakfast.
Winter swimming has got very trendy.

Will that do? 🤷🏽
