For those curious about the details of Ireland making their Basic Income for Artists program permanent, it looks like the same number of artists will get the same amount of money, unless they can secure more funding, in which case it would be 2,200 artists instead of 2,000. As a start, one of the changes coming to conference for a vote in the Culture Media and Sport chapter redraft is a proposal to treat advertising & lobbying as two sides of the same coin. So any products banned from advertising - tobacco, gambling, high carbon emitters - will be banned from lobbying
