VRChat is also the only major social VR platform that has problems like this. ChilloutVR and Resonite's rules are less convoluted. And Overte's servers are completely self hostable, and you don't have to connect to main server list & account system if you don't want to.

I think, uploading an avatar that violates ToS caries risks, there's no actual explicit tag. The rules are still "don't get caught", but anyone can report your avatar regardless of whether or not they're in the instance with you and I think they'll still take action against an avatar in that case.

Also, this doesn't really affect this specific situation, but a lot of people would just stop tagging if they're not ID verified instead of verifying. (plus any thing sexually explicit is still not allowed by ToS, the tag is only suggestive, even if it's not necessarily how people are using it).

I don't think they can do that until they find some cheaper and more privacy & security respecting way to mark an account as 18+.
Gating any communication deemed to be "adult" behind ID verification is being used as a censorship tool by a lot of governments. VRC doing this voluntarily doesn't help

I think it's one of those things were doing the bruteforce method once is less work then living with the second thing.
And if you really need more flexibility with partitions there LVM and similar.

You can do that in GParted, it just moves the partition to the left then resizes to fill to the right.
