Youtube issues temp bans for using yt-dlp, the app VRChat uses to load YouTube videos.

Your device's IPv6 probably changes slightly when you switch wifi networks, making YouTube think you have a different IP.

There's an open Canny for a suboptimal workaround

Anyone considering giving #Mastodon another go, I'm happy to report that they appear to have (finally) fixed the issue where the server wouldn't search the fediverse for other replies, so you'd get:
- 0-1 replies on everyone else's posts
- 500 people replying the same thing on your post

There's also FediFetcher if your instance doesn't pull in posts but does support Mastodon app clients. You also don't need to be an instance admin to use it.https://github.com/nanos/FediFetcher
