I am not primarily German, but I have some in my heritage. So I made a batch of German ginger bread, lebkuchen. I was expecting something more sweet and less filled with all the lovely warming spices, citrus zest, or glaze. These may be my new favorite holiday cookie. #Krampusnacht #GoodYule

Made these no-bake cookies as the first of the holiday cookies my mom makes every year. Used 100% unsweetened cocoa and natural peanut butter to cut down the sugar as much as possible. Definitely a dark chocolate version, but it beats giving money to Nestlé for NesQwik.

My Thanksgiving dinner, the highlight of which was the chicken cordon bleu with a dijon cream sauce. This was one of the best entrées I have ever made.

With as much football as I watch between #EPL, #Bundesliga, #UCL, #EuropaLeague, and #LaLiga, I have seen my fair share of smart looking kits and absolutely ugly ones. This year, my favorite example of the former is from #SVWerderBremen and their 3rd kit. If I supported them, I would have one.

Went to bowling league this morning wearing a heavy flannel shirt as a means of keeping me warm in SF afterwards. Did not have to even think about removing it. Had enough freedom of movement and wasn’t overheating. Shot a 233, 178, and 222, for a 633 series.

Well, Fender used Lace Sensor pickups as stock in the 80s and early 90s. The most desired ones were actually made in Japan for the build quality compared to price. My 2001 Squier was made in Indonesia, but it is still pretty good quality, and the pickups are versatile. Here is what it looks like.

Decided to try a recipe from my Sichuan cookbook called dry fried “eels”, a use of shiitake mushrooms to simulate the flavor and texture of fried eels but keeping it vegan for Buddhists. It turned out so good, and I made it extra spicy. #HomeCooking #SichuanCuisine

Definitely tough to cook with all my #ChronicPain, but for #Diwali I still went ahead and made chili chicken, jeera rice, and onion kulcha. I also threw together store bought stuff for samosa chaat. Only way I got through this was doing as much prep yesterday as I could. #IndianCuisine

Went for some bowling practice this morning because it was a holiday and traffic was light. In 4 games, I threw 258 with my Track Cypher solid, 210 with a Track Criterion hybrid, 221 with a Brunswick Beyond Infinity, and 212 with an Ebonite Fireball, for a 901 series. Would love to do that on Thurs
