I'm conflicted because although it feels like this year has dragged, I'm struggling to get my head around the fact that the start of the decade was nearly 6 years ago and we are actually closer to 2030 than we are 2020

It’s frustrating how some games continue to increasingly push FOMO. Be it dailies, battle passes, pre-order bonuses, micro-transactions etc. It's all aimed at squeezing more money from players. I get that it’s nothing new, but it feels far more predatory than it used to.

I think it’s really important that when a game goes from fun daily tasks to actively becoming a chore to you that that’s when it’s time to drop those games
And for me, Star Rail and ZZZ have definitely reached that point so I’m going to stop playing them now, cause I’m not enjoying them anymore

Something I've never understood is that I love the horror aesthetic but I feel like I'm a huge scaredy-cat when it comes to consuming horror media like movies and games
