That's Billie's dinner sorted, and tomorrow's meals too I expect.

How can this be a comfortable bed. Billie overwhelming a cardboard box about 5 sizes too small for her 🤔

Zinnia or echanacea?

Powerco have now allowed 10 kW but still waiting for Fronius to provide software update so stuck with 5 kW/phase. Throttling until ~1:00am on Sunday but full bore once the EV was put on charge. Eagerly waiting for our 1st 100 kWh day.

We got a solar charger for our cars. Awesome to know we're driving on sunshine.

Stepson's dogs Brie & Mya enjoying their Xmas treat from us. A dehydrated bulls penis each. Yum, I guess 😀

It's clouded over so Grace in full relaxation mode is absorbing the heat from the deck .

Good contrasts and I love recycled timbers. This board was a gift from my stepson to his Mum. Repurposed bit of 'purpleheart' he found under the house some years back. Backgrounded on recycled 'grey ironbark' siding and deck.

I'm amazed how Billie can devour a whole rabbit about half her own size, in 2 sittings. Currently absorbing her bounty and no doubt will expect dinner tonight as usual.

Likewise, with somewhere above 1,400 kWh exported in Nov. New export cap and voltage parameters now cutting in so looking towards an even better summer.

Am I the only one that sees this in that photo?

Cracked 1,000 kWh today. Half way through Nov and inverter voltage parameters and 10 kW phase cap due next week so hopeful of doubling that by EOM.

Cats are born heat-sinks. Our two girls will lie in front of the logfire and finally move further back when they're 'done'. Our black one homes in on the sunny spots on the carpet like a heat seeking missile.

Same taste profile, probably cheaper
November 8, 2025 at 12:53 AM
Absolutely, though export is inaccurate as our second inverter (5 kW) on 2nd phase has done 193 kWh this month all exported which is interpretted as consumption in this data.
November 7, 2025 at 11:43 PM
Clear day so PV is cranking. Drop off was complying with 5 kW phase cap so we plugged in another EV to charge. Export rate up to 10 kW/phase next week solving that but still seeing inverter compromise due to Powerco supply being 240V =, not the 230V our inverter must be set to.

Not as consistent as August but gradually improving towards summer.
Very close to 81 kWh on 20th 👍

Spot the wood pidgeon (kereru) in the red magnolia.

Our magnolias are putting on quite the show this spring. Dull day for photos but with gales forecast got in before they're tattered. NZ native wood pidgeon (kereru) in the 3rd photo had the same idea feasting on the blooms.

Clear cool day for a new record generation for our solar. System is interpreting the 5kW house array as consumption as Fronius can't see the export on the phase it's on. 37kWh total export and both EVs charged by 2:00pm and HWC up to temp. Where to put tomorrow's generation? Export is lost gain!
