Farage has a keen understanding of political publicity. So when he portrayed himself in a classic Mussolini pose and his Brexit Party rally as an echo of Mosley's gathering of 30,000 fascists at Earl's Court in July 1939 he knew exactly what he was doing. He was proclaiming his fascism.
