He should be apologizing not for the “botched deal” but for championing Brexit at all. It was never about leaving the EU and all about trying to shift the country towards rightwing populism. Stoking anger and ignorance to undermine democracy and further the interests of charlatans

Ah yes. Foolish of me to forget that for many the important thing is for the other side to lose, so win-win is out, win-lose is the goal, but will settle for lose-lose. Just as long as the other side loses too.

It should be a bigger problem. He has always been racist adjacent, but now I confess I’m happy to write reform voters off as either ignorant, racists or, ignorant racists. I don’t have enough time left to entertain their bigotry.

Someone made the point that once they flood social media sites with credible AI generated nonsense, which money like this will facilitate, there really will be no hope. People like farage and tommeh won’t care how they win, just how much money they can grift off gullible fools.
