Looks like some much needed work is planned to improve the pedestrian facilities around new town next year.

A pretty grim planning app: the owners of the old Leith Walk railway viaduct want to keep using this historic structure as a giant billboard for even longer.

How about investing in the site and rehabilitating it instead of squeezing more ads out of it?

Is this a joke? -- this is the only part of the West Edinburgh link ("phase 1") that will take ~ 8 months to construct (The red section)....

The council have included actual design overlays for the new Dundee Street Active Travel Project.

This is great, super detailed and easy to understand!

Green is open and mostly cycleble (there may be barriers still in places)

Red is still under construction or not cycleble at all

Yellow is mostly complete but parts at the end need finished off and some parts missing

Trams to Granton and the B-Quarter consulation has opened and I am even more confident that the Roseburn path route is the correct one.

To me it appears AT will be improved along much of the route with single track running at bridges allowing for acceptable footpath widths.

Let's get it built!

All I could think about on my cycle round town today! Apologies, should’ve waited a day 😭😂

- in the meantime I tried the small section of FOTW to Comm st that is open. Felt a little bumpy on the pavers but all looks good!

The Roseburn Path is a vital Active Travel Route, Green Corridor and natural habitat that runs through a large part of the city.

That said, I believe trams should run down it. This is the original plan and we should stick with it.

Looks like the Dalry side streets project could be going ahead in September?!

Unsure of the scope and detail but currently looks like just the Caledonian Road/Place streets etc.

I wonder if this has potentially been descoped 🤔🤨
