for anybody unaware, Red had a really minimal role in Advent Children partially because they had a very hard time animating him, and the Lion King world in KH2 was basically Nomura setting out with specifically the challenge of animating quadrupeds

I doubt it, KH1's marketing was heavily pushed by the Disney side, all the other world trailers were all about the disney characters (not that there were any alternatives really)
