Corgis are absolutely amazing dogs. Right up until there is something horrible smelling with in rolling in distance….
We have been in the countryside 24 hours. Virgile is about to have his second 🦊 💩 induced bath.

Ok. Can we just agree that it would be really nice for Max to not win the championship next weekend.
He is an extremely talented driver and I have no problem with him winning next year.
For the sake of interest…

I have found a German internet radio station on Apple Music playing exclusively 90s trance.

This makes me happy 😁

Democrats had a very good night last night in New York and Virginia

Zohran Mamdani won with 50.4% of the vote in a 7-candidate race.

Abigail Spanberger won with 57.7% of the vote.

Meanwhile, all the GOP/MAGA headcases can do is cry about Muslims and Charlie Kirk

At my parents. Dogs sleeping arrangements are not as they are at home… Labrador’s are not designed to share a bed…

Tracking a friends flight on the non stop CDG to Perth. Been a while since I looked at flights going east. The various areas of « instability » means the planes look like a line of ants trooping through the Middle East !

I'm trying to find any descendants of John and Emma Gilkes who lived in Heath Road, Twickenham, in the early 19th century.

Here they are.. behind the bride... at the wedding of their daughter Ethel to a man called Will Whiting ca 1908.

Feel like I'm in a Hartley novel...

Anything to distract from Epstein.

What was almost a perfect head shot from 200m away is not some amateur marksman.

They would genuinely rather kill their own than admit any form of truth.

Solo dog parenting this week.
Just gonna say that soothing dog music playlists are extremely helpful when trying to work…

every single woman I've brought it up with at some point has been sexually assaulted before, myself included, and not a single one of these men has ever cared about the reality of that, but now it's maybe looking like some black and brown men are moving to Britain and oh, suddenly women are people?

Well. This made me giggle. Honestly. So many things wrong with that from a moral and HR perspective. Like. What were they thinking?!

Fabulous power cut here.

Started 19h30, turns out you can’t get into the building without power so we had to wait with the dogs for someone to come out!

The estimation of rétablissement of electricity was originally 21h30… then 23h30… now 02h00…

Merci @enedis-officiel.bsky.social 😬

We have AC units blasting and it’s still only getting the temp down to about 26C….

Just took the dogs out for their bedtime bathroom break, it’s still over 30C out there 🥵

Paris is not designed to be this hot.

You know what isn’t fun. Getting pneumonia just as Paris heats up to 🥵 temps.
Today is the first time since Sunday my temperature has been less than 38C.

We have new neighbours moving into day. We met one of them on Saturday morning.
Who said hello we are moving in and then a list of complaints.
We have a shared « balcony » at the back, and I’d put a couple of rugs out to dry on their « side » of course I was going to remove them!

It would be really nice if we could have a gradual temperature increase… not 15-20C for ages then BAM 30C… I need time to adapt! 🥵

Watching Clarkson’s Farm with the husband and explaining about the different colours of tractors as a way of knowing who they are made by…

Him - …

Me - you do know I grew up in the countryside… right? (Not far from where Diddle Squat farm is)

Today is my 45th birthday.

Can someone tell me when I’m supposed to be a grown up?

Or do you just get to ache more?
