I don’t know him at all but there are 2 reasons why I subscribe. 1. Rewrites about legal stuff I’m interested in a way I can understand (I am not an atty). 2. As far as I can tell he is a genuinely decent person trying to make a difference in the world and I like supporting folks like that.

As a policy and political choice I think this vote was a very bad idea, but the messaging tonight has been an even worse disaster. Your suggestion is a way Dems can start to do undo some of the damage they’ve caused.
