I started the first Throne of Glass book. It's interesting, but a little too YA for me. She started writing it when she was 16 so I'm curious about the quality of the later books (that people rave about) so I'm going to see it through.

Tonight I prepped for the week:
-caramelized onion tomato and goat cheese tartlets
-bbq chicken burritos with leftover caramelized onions and fresh queso fresco
-6 beautiful round bagels
-steeped cold brew + mango green tea
I cooked the leftover eggwash in the onion scraps n fat and it was unreal

Wow I book that I devoured this month is called Strange Pictures by Uketsu. It was fabulous and totally unique to anything I’ve read in a while.

Two and a half books done for far for March. Say Nothing got returned before I finished it so I hope it comes back around before the end of March. Just finished Piglet by Lottie Hazel.

My February 2025 Book Roundup! Too was I Who Have Never Known Men and honorable mention Slewfoot. Interesting mix of books due to the whims of libby holds and availability.
