The snake people got here fast and in the second video you can actually see the snake is digesting something.. Probably a roof rat. That slowed him down a bit for her to reach back and catch him with her hand!

My least favorite aspect to living in AZ. We have snake proofing but this guy must have gotten into the garage when it was open. It was literally on the doormat that leads from the garage into the house when he stepped out over it. He only saw it when he had one leg on each side of it.

When I lived in the Canary Islands, we used to get two weeks of sandstorms from the Sahara called Calima. Every night the balcony would fill up with sand. You couldn't see the sun. It was pretty crazy.

Living in Phoenix, we generally don't get tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes or tsunamis, but we do get haboobs.

Found this note my lovely MIL wrote to herself, doubtless after watching a Marie Kondo show. She was not a hoarder (our estate sale person agrees), but she did have a lot of things and was relentlessly positive. We all sure miss her!
