Retired from the journalism education and TV news rackets. And before that, the record business, which really was a racket. Currently living with the decent folks, while tiny purple fishes run laughing through my fingers.
Don't ask Josh Hawley what he stands for. He would say nothing. And that's what he stands for.

The Amerikan Gestapo reaches into a reporter’s home. Not the tiny Marion Register, but the WaPo, whose owner can be counted on to be compliant.
I'm not sure how long it has been since DOJ targeted WaPo journalists that did not include Ellen Nakashima.

Which IMO is more a testament to how much more broadly Pam Bondi is calling politically sensitive stuff classified than anything else.
Really working their way through the ol' First Amendment.

Vice President JD Vance’s comments justifying the death of Renee Good are a moral stain on the collective witness of our Catholic faith.

His Catholicism seems to be little more than a political prop, a tool only for his career ambitions and desire for power.

The American people electing Trump after he staged a coup attempt 5 years ago was a nail in the coffin of our democracy. You can rationalize it all you want - But inflation! But wokeness! - but ultimately it was a societal suicide attempt and probably the dumbest collective voting decision ever made

What the Weiss-washed CBS is becoming: an apologia for corruption.
NEW: Jan Crawford's attack on SCOTUS "corruption" narrative was its own substance-free narrative.

On Face the Nation, CBS News's chief legal correspondent went after Supreme Court critics as "dangerous." And yet, her court defense was completely lacking in specifics.
