One of the things about people showing up to protest for the first time, that many, many armchair theorists don't grasp, is the effect of seeing what happens with your own eyes, then seeing how media covers it, and what is said ABOUT YOU by media and political personalities/office holders.

When people dumb down the intricacies of the US-ISR relationship (which is often symbiotic in its colonial attitude towards people across MENA) they miss out on some really comical stuff, like a US Senator who wants to bomb Iran so bad that he's going to Israel to ask Israel to ask Trump to do it
