The new intro also doesn't do it for me. It's too in your face about it. I've also seen posters, and even those just carry the dead soul of a character long been animated.

I wish I could've accepted it but I can't.

I don't know what everyone else is saying but for me, it just feels like a part of its soul has been lost over the past 7 years. The animation is higher in quality, but I feel it looks more garish in comparison, and also the kids' voices aren't really in sync with previous performances.

While "Wondertwins Powers! Activate" is the best known case of 'needs 2 to use', it didn't originate in Superfriends (1977), or Shazzan (1967)

A similar (non-sibling) version goes back to Mort Weisinger's TNT and Dan the Dyna-Mite in Star Spangled Comics 7 (1942)

I think CN are probably hoping that if they air it enough with Amazing World, they'll blur the lines so much, that nobody will even notice. It just feels a little different to me.

Amazing World has done several episodes about selling out and even one episode where they had doppelgangers but Wonderfully World feels painfully ironic.

Be Your Own You definitely was thrown out the window when the crew came back to make this.

I wish I could be more positive about Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, but it's just not the same. Amazing World of Gumball was more for the family, but Wonderfully Weird of Gumball sounds and looks like it was made by hyperactive kids for YouTube, who have been watching too much Loud House.

It's hilarious!

What's ironic is that it's made as a flat out parody of action cartoons and comic strips but becomes this highly dramatic show rich in its own mythology.

This character was clearly modeled after Milton from The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. To speculate further, they were probably going to have a love triangle with him, Fred, and Daphne. This would explain why Fred and Daphne don't have defined personalities in the final show.

There was a snooty, rich type (probably annoying and got them into more trouble lol).

His ascot went to Fred, and then got another ascot and looked more like his older brother.

He so obviously didn't need to be there and was removed. #scoobydoo
