Agree on all points. Is what it is. Could have done 70m on their offer 2show seriousness o/t 3 year limit but more than incremental value 2Diaz. But I hate bottom feeder look 4a deal attitude that comes across w Stearns. I didn't renew &expand my season tix 4a less than competitive team next year.

Interesting. You're ok with Diaz moving on? I am actually more upset with the messaging that the Mets don't seem to be serious about doing what's necessary to win.

I wasn't being negative, gas vehicles pay a gas tax that goes towards maintenance of the roads, effectively a use tax. They haven't yet figured out how to extract that from EVs using the same roads. I'm in that class, my last two vehicles are EVs, the one before, a plug in hybrid.

Similar for me, I've had a plug-in hybrid and two full EVs. When most daily driving is local, ie: 50 miles or less (more typical than you might think), you charge every few days. Charge at home over nite, preferred rate or rebates. And, there's less maintenance on these vehicles.

What are we doing? This doesn't just hurt the parks, it hurts all the businesses around the parks that live off of the tourism that's going to drop off via this poorly thought out policy change 🤦‍♂️
