Not sure how this affects r account (which is quite costly at its current level), but if we lose ability2 play from my iPad 2a tv wired or wireless as currently supported, it will b the end of r relationship w Netflix. We travel quite a bit and don't enter our credentials into tvs we don't own.

It's one way to get the EVs to start paying for road use, and get a benefit to boost😉😎

Troubling that we haven't learned since the Heparin mess of 2008. #WTF

If this drives anything like my EQE, it will be quite and enjoyable experience for the buyers. The current admin really set us back by not leaving the incentives in place for US made EVs, helping our car cos to sell into additional optimizations in this tech so we can compete worldwide.
I don't see how Tesla's Model 3 can survive if Benz can offer an alternative EV this cheap, with this kind of performance, on top of the 15% tariff that it's charged in the US.

Imagine what this model does to Tesla in Europe, where Benz pays no tariffs.

So many short sighted moves, don't know who will fund this stuff going forward, but no longer leading in this research isn't good for us. There a way to help pay for it, put a royalty back to us govt do any commercialization of the discovery's. A far smarter path to take.
The termination of 383 #NIH funded clinical trials included studies of Covid 19 & HIV. More than 100 grants funded #Cancer research terminated. Some clinical trials sites were shut down. 74,000 participants affected. Short-sighted actions will lead to long term losses.

Trump slashed spending on clinical trials. The toll is starting to become clear.
Grants for 383 clinical trials were terminated and the funding disruptions affected more than 74,000 trial participants, according to new research.

It's great that the president and his minions say there is no inflation, but anyone else notice that the donuts and muffins at Dunkin' Donuts shrunk by at least 15% in size over the last few days? Did u also notice that point redemptions went up 20% at some point in last two weeks as well?

The current GOP lie is that they’re going to replace Obamacare with something better.

Bullshit. In all of the majorities they’ve had since Obamacare passed, they’ve never once tried to replace it.

They’ve tried to repeal it a whole bunch, but never actually make it better.

It would seem an easy solution, at least as easy as it was to send out that email, would be to send out a waiver to the same parties, good until the crisis (ignored by administration, whined about instead of addressing by republicans) is over.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

It only smooths out the shifts if they are willing to work together. Republicans are going out of their way to avoid doing just that. Remember, they have already removed two other filibuster rules in 2013 and 2017. That's all worked out really well, right? 🤦‍♂️😥
Eliminate the filibuster and you get a pendulum swing of federal policy. The filibuster smooths out the shifts. Interesting to note the “big beautiful bill” that is responsible for the current shut down was hustled through the senate with only 51 votes due the the budget reconciliation loop hole.

Quite honestly, A big concern of mine is that all these separate brands producing content, movies, TV, news, etc. are being consolidated. It's kind of troubling.
Breaking News: Warner Bros. Discovery, the owner of HBO, CNN and the Warner Bros. studio, is considering a whole or partial sale of the company.
