it’s so embarrassing

Parent: People will put up with many things if you are excellent at math. You’re so good at math. We‘re proud of you.

Child: mama can I tell you something for real? Santa drives a sleigh and he’s going to bring me a remote controlled monster truck. Also he has no bones

just had our parent teacher conferences and the way they assess math skills in our pre-K is by seeing how high a kid can count.

I’d wager a guess that the more time you spend with four year olds the more you know deep down in your bones what social emotional learning is
