No. He is not the AG. He is the House Speaker. He should start doing the job of the House Speaker and stop acting as the White House Communication Director. Public Relations for the White House is not in the constitution as part of the Speaker’s responsibilities. He needs to start with checks.

Bondi took money from “one of Epstein’s closest confidantes”. She took 25k from Epstein’s best friend, Donald Trump when she was Florida AG. She then refused to join with other state AGs in the multiple-state lawsuit against Trump University. So, she has no problem with taking money from JE friends.
