During today's Senate hearing, Brendan Carr denied the FCC is independent. Minutes later, someone edited the agency's website to remove the word.

When I first saw the episode, I thought Ron was overreacting. It's become clear to me that he wasn't.

I know Pai's not Chair anymore, but I will personally attempt to get it through FCC security at the next Open Meeting for the bit.

I know several dozen advocates who deserve it, but I'd argue it belongs in my office at @freepress.bsky.social alongside my 3 foot tall gnome intern, Gnorman, and a plush dumpster fire on wheels that sings "I Will Survive."
