Please call all Liberal MPs, Minister Anand, and Prime Minister Carney to ensure they know how important it is that these Canadians are protected and released immediately.

As a New Democrat I continue to demand Canada end its complicity in genocide. Sanctions, arms embargo, end trade now.

Today I am thinking of Vivian Silver.
Of Hind Rajab
Of Judih Weinstein Of Anas Al-Sharif.
Of Refaat Al Areer.
Of Jacob Flickenger.
Of Mohammad Salama.
Of Hamza Dahdouh.
I am thinking of the remaining hostages.
And all victims of the Hamas attack.
I am thinking of the more than 20,000 children killed in Gaza since
October 7 2023.
And the tens of thousands wounded.
And the doctors and medics killed, the hospitals bombed.
I am thinking of the journalists targeted and killed for reporting on these crimes.
And the millions forced from their homes over and over again.
The olive trees cut down.
The land and water poisoned.
I am thinking about the international courts under threat.
And the erosion of international law.
I am thinking of the leaders and soldiers continuing this genocide
Their brutality, their viciousness, their racism.
And I am thinking of our collective failure to stop them.
The hope comes from Standing Together
From the journalists and medics From the conscientious objectors
From the people marching in the streets
From the children who fly kites amid the ruins
Release the hostages. Sanctions. Arms embargo. End trade with Israel. Bring justice. Bring peace. End Canada's complicity in genocide.

Yesterday, thousands of Albertans gathered at the Alberta Legislature to support our teachers.

Today, the UCP government locked them out.

Teachers aren’t just standing up for themselves. They’re standing up for our kids. Their working conditions are our children’s learning conditions.

I love Albertans! A huge crowd, incredible energy, and amazing support for Alberta teachers.

While I couldn’t be there in person today, I will always support teachers and I’ll be on the line this week standing with them for fair wages, reasonable class sizes, safe working conditions & respect. ✊🍎

Danielle Smith is pushing a new pipeline to BC with no route, no partners, no plan & no proponent.

The UCP won’t pay teachers or fund schools, healthcare is in chaos & they’re hurting people living with a disability but they’ll gamble billions on a pipe dream.

This isn’t helping Alberta workers.
