I'd be surprised if he shows.

Do they though? Michigan voted for Trump. It's not like he didn't tell them he would do this.

Maybe. But it's nothing new.

Don't yell at me. I'm just taking a guess at why they are doing what they are doing.

Have you considered that politicians make political strategy choices based on demographics of voter groups, including factors such as racial / ethnic and gender differences? Because that's what it seems like is happening here.

The largest block of voters is white women. You will get a better rate of return on expending your political capital focusing on issues more likely to move them. A majority of white men are currently immovable for Dems due to a variety of issues - that's just a harsh reality

This appears to be about the votes of white moderate women. Internals must show white moderate women are more supportive of the Dem view on healthcare than immigration. Disturbing? Yes. But not unsurprising given the white moderate voter's historical lack of support for other racial & ethnic groups.

It's owned by someone else, which might not make financial sense for the group that owns the NWSL team. It's also not near convenient and significant public transportation.

Losing credibility fast.

I thought Nexstar would fold before Sinclair because Sinclair's news programming on their local stations is right-wing propaganda. Unwatchable. Thought Sinclair would be in it to the end. But the more I think about it, the more it makes sense that Nexstar is the holdout. They really want the merger.
