Donda really was gone too soon.
Seeing Hey Mama in its early stages in jeen-yuhs was a treat. Check it out if you haven't. Coodie is really underrated. Was nice to see he got a shout-out in the album sleeve of College Dropout.

Might as well put the link for Homesick here as it isn't on Spotify.

Anyway, found Scott Pilgrim when I was 11 from my parents and liked the bass battle in it. Wanted to see if there was something similar for keyboard (my main instrument at the time) and found this as a result.
This also led me to find TwoSet Violin, one of the two things that got me back into music.

I relate with it a lot with its theme of self-doubt, worth, and finding someone whose presence can alleviate those feelings. I too have an angel, but I'm too selfish to want to let go. Both versions seem quite different tonally though. Only Fallen Angel seems to be about letting go.

TIX is one of two artists who I explored after the contest, the other being Blind Channel. I think this would have done better in the contest had it stayed in Norwegian, but having listened to it for the first time in ages, I still quite like it, as either Fallen Angel or Ut Av Mørket.

Incredible musically as well. Sounds kinda angelic, but grounded.

In terms of the song, I don't think I have much to add. Just great. Pretty different to what I would usually listen to but my tastes are quite broad anyway.
Will still call him Raleigh Ritchie over Jacob Anderson.

I do sometimes dream of suicide, though I'd never go through with it. I'm always saved in my dreams, and this song is playing, mainly from 'Am I me through geography' onwards.
Sometimes it feels like I'm not living, just surviving.

"If you can't survive, just try."

Things will get better.

This was also in May btw. You'll find that Eurovision will be reasonably prominent in this list but I feel like I was burnt out from Eurovision following May 10th. I could at least find some feeling in this song.

LIIWMI works a bit better as an anthem of hope though.
I was binging this song during a period when my friend was isolating themselves for two months. It was lonely, and the aftermath of it all wasn't great for me since I ended up losing a bunch of motivation for reasons I'd rather not get into.

As a quick aside, Yuri on Ice!! was my favourite anime until I found given in 2019 from Gigguk. Hopefully 10th mix will be animated at some point.
Also own Volumes 1-5 in physical. Only other manga I own is Volume 1 of Phantom Blood.

For now it feels like I can't really speak to them the way I want to. I don't know if I'll listen to them the right way either, when what they're doing is open to misreading on purpose. I just feel stranded. If they're reading, which they could be, please listen to this.
