The tl;dr is that back in 2017, the Boy Scouts decided to allow girls to join, in part because the organization was trying to find a way to fix its declining membership. Publicly, the organization said it was doing this for the sake of inclusivity and other PR speak.

Taking the "inclusivity" line at face value, the right lost its mind and threw a big tantrum. But truly, it wasn't *really* about inclusivity.

It was about membership numbers and money. Scouts filed for bankruptcy in 2020 because of all the sexual abuse lawsuits they had to settle.

I'm not sure people understand now, but Microsoft Office is an entire skill set and career. There are things in it that go back 20 years that only a few people use. Microsoft Office is the box you open and never ends.
