Following my passion of making games.
Working on a turn-based strategy game with short session.

Thanks for hosting #TurnBasedThursday!

Working on a compact #4x multiplayer game with short sessions (20-40min). It combines chill economic growth at the beginning with unforgiving tactical wars to win the game.

Getting closer to a vertical slice with every day.

No public demo yet, as it is currently multiplayer only. But if you are keen, you can join the discord. We have a playtest session every week.

I actually was thinking of making them smaller... But I guess I don't do it know. Would you make them even bigger?
November 26, 2025 at 8:46 AM
Oh, yeah. I could not imagine how to make those games without tooltips.
November 26, 2025 at 8:45 AM
Hmm, is it the size?! I'll try to make easier to read.

Haha, yes. Realized that I need to make a game in a genre I care and love. So far it was the right decision.

I'll try that. Thx!
November 24, 2025 at 1:58 PM
Oh yes, Looks better!
November 24, 2025 at 12:27 PM
Thanks, I'll try it with more contrast!
November 24, 2025 at 12:25 PM
Absolutly feel you. The "how" to win matters, keep going!

The arena looks really cool.

This will not be significant change of time. The colors are player colors are applied ingame.

Oh, depends alot on what the new card (action) is doing. If it is a mix of behavior that already exists it takes minutes. If it is something new and systems have to change, it rather takes hours. I have splitted everything in data, logic and visuals, so I feel quite confident adding new stuff.

Less saturation works quite well.

Sorry, but I dont understand your question.
November 21, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Hmm, not to much I guess. The cards are always belowing to the player. Would be more like a reassurance and vibe thing. Thats them in the scene.

Ah, interessting. The circles show the power the player have on a tile.
After a turn, if a tile belongs to a player, and another player has more power, it becomes contested. If the tile is neutral or contested, it flips to the player with the most power.
Any idea on making it more clear?

Thanks for your feedback!
Blue overlay means, blue conquered it. Is there something that would make it more clear to you?
