This is criminal. Period. Homan is saying a victim “didn’t get due process” from her murderer, so the US government committed another criminal act by shipping a multitude of brown people to an El Salvadoran prison without due process. The US administration is a criminal organization.

There's a war on empathy being waged by right wing pundits. They openly say empathy is a bad thing. They see empathy as a weakness, as clouding one's judgment, as a critical vulnerability for those who are committed to democracy. This thought process is also called narcissistic personality disorder.
