Not from the perspective of like “you don’t have a job, so pick up the slack”, but more “i’m stressed out about work right now and don’t have a lot of time to spare. it’d be super helpful if you’d be willing to take care of the kitchen”, because it’s more of an imposition on you

I think it’s good to recognize that impulse, but unless it was you who had made a mess in the kitchen or whatever, you’re already under a lot of stress and pressure with your work. If you’re living with someone who has the luxury of not having that pressure, I dont think asking would be unreasonable

I would just assume any service in that vein that’s free and doesn’t have advertisements is up to something. Especially when a “free” service has money to buy advertisements on podcasts and youtube channels.
