Intellectual honesty about the motives of Kirk’s assassin are in short supply.

Many on the left proclaimed him a far-right follower of Fuentes, who’s attacked Kirk from the right.

Meanwhile, parts of the right (see 🧵⬇️) & now far left (see below) proclaim that Israel/Mossad/the Jews did it.

Trump è ormai molto impopolare, Bibi aveva bisogno del "successo" iraniano per riguadagnare un po' di credibilità presso i cittadini. Ma entrambi hanno apertamente imboccato la rotta verso l'autocrazia. Lo Stato d'emergenza creato dalla guerra è lo strumento perfetto per accelerare questo corso.

Le persone che hanno lottato per "Donna Vita Libertà" vengono arrestate e giustiziate all'istante con l'accusa dello spionaggio. "Regime change" oggi significa letteralmente sostituire un regime ostile come la Repubblica Islamica con un regime (fantoccio) filo-occidentale. Probabilmente guidato da Reza Pahlavi, il figlio dello Shah totalmente inviso all'opposizione democratica iraniana.

Trump has gotten very unpopular, Bibi badly needed the Iranian "success" to get some credibility back. Both countries have been openly heading towards autocracy. The State of Emergency created by war makes it even more easier for them to crush down dissent and what remains of "checks&balances".
