by all means be critical of heteronormativity in media. examine what you like and why. I just don't think fandom spaces should operate within a framework that necessitates "proving" the validity of one's opinion based on arbitrary rules

do I get why this happens? absolutely. I find bi4bi m/f particularly compelling, and I'm vocal about it because that aspect brings me joy. NOT because I see it as some "gotcha" to pull out when someone's being a hater

Like, yeah, I get what the image in popular consciousness is, but I cannot emphasize enough how much, in the actual trans femme community, t4t is considered the default and t4c is considered the exception to the rule
