When I turned 40, I had 320 short story rejections and no books published. A few years later, I've published a short story collection and two novels with another on the way. Believe in yourself like someone who loves you.

The EU is about to launch a single European booking system for train tickets.

This means that you will be able to travel to multiple destinations in multiple countries on just one ticket with your full travel schedule clearly mapped out. 👍👍👍

I am in the process of transitioning from that cesspool known as Twitter (I refuse to call it X). This is my first post on Blue Sky. I am still in shock from last week so I can only offer this image I took a couple of weeks ago from my backyard. The Horsehead Nebula. Helps keep the perspective!

Good news: Twitter is collapsing.

And this chart doesn't even show the last two weeks—which have seen the largest exodus in site history.

There are reports from Newsweek and others that Twitter may merge with Truth Social.

If that happens, the last collapse of Twitter may happen almost overnight.

Twitter is dying a death and no one talks anymore, my other accs are too big for conversation, so hopefully here can be a place to chat with others as it would be nice to do so.

I think all humans should get at least 3 months off per year to create stuff. Art, side projects, writing, etc.

And if they don't feel creative it's okay, that time would belong to them.

Conditions at Wethersfield are disgraceful. Absolutely nobody should be kept there. It's important to recognise that the Home Office, not those taking the case, are responsible for this. They could have sorted this by providing suitable accommodation.
