Ambridge could be in Pakistan which had the new year at 7pm. If the episode was recorded it could be in other countries including Christmas Island . But it's not in UK #TheArchers

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Increasingly I worry that the Editor and powers that be at BBC R4 are no longer interested in the slow burn but want immediacy. That’s not what makes #TheArchers the success that has been proven over the last 75 years. IMO.
