Degenerative myelopathy is such a cruel disease. Rockie (red head, 12 years old from a NC shelter) is still wagging her tail, can still eat and can’t move at all. Today is her last day with her BFF Hutch, 14 yrs old male (black), a ten year friendship. Hard stuff. Always hard stuff.
