When asked how she would pay them back, she mewed and rubbed up against my leg.
Acceptable response.
Taken after the fact, resuming her perch and maybe plotting another escape? God I hope not. I was sick with worry and now I'm sick with relief.

In many states you have to be registered 30 days prior to that (or OCTOBER 5TH).

hey so uh
I got purged from voter rolls in Ohio because I moved. The total move was about 3 miles away. Less than a 15 minute drive.

Yeah it's an "off year" whatever that means but STILL. NOW is the critical time to check your voter reg in the US and go over your options for voting.

Even outside of fandom - does this mean people who vent and say something like "if I didn't get this off my chest here, I could've carved it out with a knife instead" is going to get banned for trying to do something safer than their initial ideation/impulse?

I can't help but think this will have a negative effect. Users who can't experience and explore these kinds of issues in fiction and see what the consequences might be in fiction, could be more apt to try it IRL. That's not good.

Correction: The lightning strike did fry the HVAC controller, so while the products will be nice and cool, the humans will not. Luckily it's cooler out today so maybe it won't be too bad.

Lightning hit the store. Everyone is unhurt and it didn’t fry any major systems or coolers/freezers. But it’s proof lightning strikes twice; same thing happened in 2022.

Otherwise we're down to a dwindling list of options to keep our fandoms and found families together.

Now will I read stuff where the involved parties don't consent to what's happening? No, 99% of the time I will not. But that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to exist. There's content controls for your feed for a reason. It's the way the internet flourished: don't like; don't read (interact). (+)

You should absolutely be able to post what you want on this site (as long as it's legal). Right now posting stories/art of people doing adult things of all kinds is legal in my and most other countries. Self-censoring your users is a bad idea. LJ/Tumblr anyone? (+)
