Yesterday was all about the Wikidata Graph Split - making solid progress on ensuring our thesis project queries are updated to be workable and usable www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidat.... The split will require a few edits to the Wikidata Thesis Toolkit as well - work is underway - watch this space!

This exciting paper also links to the Wikidata Thesis Toolkit that I co-wrote with Ruth Elder, University of York. If @thneed.bsky.social's paper inspires you to get your theses onto Wikidata then the toolkit aims to help you! www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidat...

Brilliant article by @thneed.bsky.social detailing the huge success of their NZ Thesis Project making this unique content more discoverable and connected. Thanks for including mention of our LSE Thesis Project www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidat... as well!

Would you be able to add me? Thank you!

I wouldn't be able to part with them either! The bookshelves at my parents house are still frequently used in this way!

Also just yesterday, edited 4 Wikipedia pages as part of our Suffrage Interviews project, contributing knowledge from Library collections to a global audience! Definitely massive changes from the discovery landscape of my childhood! www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidat...

Just yesterday I was in a park near where my Nan used to live, remembering the days when homework frequently required nipping round to hers to use an old 7 volume encyclopaedia set! Highly inefficient as a homework method, though wonderful for hugs, snacks and encouragement!

Grappling with the impact of the Wikidata Graph Split on a Monday morning has built up an appetite for lunch – a chance to see whether yesterday’s culinary grappling with a 4th attempt to modify a gluten & dairy free fruit soda bread recipe has worked!

Great to see the shout out for DOIs and ORCIDs amidst the wider concerns here - these kinds of identifiers are a vital part of discoverability and exposing connections between research outputs.

Really interesting, and in another lovely connection our Suffrage Interviews Wikidata project has a SPARQL query which shows 2 interviewees, Kathleen Halpin and Mary Smieton, mention Caroline Haslett! archives.lse.ac.uk/records/8SUF...
