ran down to the river to scream. it was cathartic
a riverbank at night. the river is dark and slow-moving, on the other side of the bank there are streetlights, houses, and railway cables. the dark sky above is full of wispy grey clouds. the night sky. it is mostly clear save for a band of grey wispy clouds towards the bottom of the image. the Auriga constellation is visible.

went to a bug show today and made some friends. the Giant Peaceful Ground Beetle (actual common name of the Teflus genus) was my favourite she was SO sweet
a large, dark stick insect with a prickly cuticle balancing on my hand and looking towards the camera a large black shiny ground beetle with many grooves along its abdomen, resting on my hand. she is so very cute and exudes a kind aura a long, skinny tan-coloured stick insect climbing up my forearm. a large green mantis resting on my knuckles and staring off into the distance.

On the same day, the membership of the Green Party was announced to have grown to 68,500 members, its highest on record. On 15 October, the New Statesman reported that the party had grown to 110,000 members, with its membership having grown by 55% since Polanski's election as leader. Four days later, membership hit 130,000, taking the Greens ahead of the Conservatives. As of 30 October, membership stands at 150,000."
