One has to remember that there really wasn't anything like a ROM cartridge at the time. A few home computers had similar ideas, but they were primitive and definitely expected you to use tape or floppy. Jerry Lawson not only changed gaming, but he also changed computing forever.
This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.
The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

Just regular ones!! Get a sturdy regular old machine. We got a refurbished Janome Magnolia two years ago and my husband learned to sew and has been quilting non-stop ever since. This is my placemat that he made. He has made a lot of blankets too.
