Multiply the tax by whatever factor they are more polluting than cars. That’s only fair. But better to ban them altogether. That’s even fairer for the environment.

We are in a climate emergency. The usual response to an emergency is to take immediate action. The government response is to procrastinate.
“What do I do now for a home? I'm homeless.”

Hemsby is collapsing to the climate crisis and government inaction. Yet the people who did the least to cause this are paying the price. We're taking legal action to force Starmer to step up:

So the Eurovision Song Contest “shouldn't be used as a political theatre, it must retain some sense of neutrality."
Spectacularly and stubbornly refusing to acknowledge that genocide isn’t a political issue you should remain neutral about. Remember Russia? Boycott it.

And we should have learned by now that when you think an option can’t be worse, it surely can and then some. Starver is paving the way for Deform, I can’t think why else he’s making the choices he is. Why?
Labour is turning Britain into an authoritarian state.

That’s bad enough now.

But imagine what a Nigel Farage government will build on all these authoritarian foundations.

No, there is no ceasefire in Gaza
Israel’s bombing of Gaza is not a ‘violation of the ceasefire'. It is a continuing genocide under diplomatic cover.

And David Attenborough said this 2 years ago. And in the 2 years since we’ve seen even more extreme weather and more records broken.
But I expect they had a nice chat about it in COP 30.

Maybe the biggest boost for our defence would be to stop supporting and participating in illegal wars and stop aligning ourselves with two of the most aggressive countries in the world.

was used to feed, clothe, heal, house the poor

Don’t ever get used to hearing these accounts. This is not normal. There is no excuse for this. There is no excuse for the inaction from our world leaders. Words and condemnation have never been enough because these people - terrorists - are way beyond that, way beyond any appeal for morality.
Orthopedic surgeon Mark Perlmutter, who recently worked in Gaza, has shared a harrowing eyewitness account, that Israeli occupation soldiers buried two Palestinian children alive in a mass grave in the Nasser medical complex.

So should we feel sorry for the Israeli Occupation ‘soldiers’, in anticipation of them eventually discovering their sense of morality and thus being condemned to a lifetime of guilt, remorse and suicidal thoughts, all wrapped up in PTSD?
I’d find that hard.
